The Kaiviti Silktails have appointed Ronal Prasad to the Board of the Kaiviti Silktails Rugby League Football Club.
At the clubs most recent Board Meeting, Prasad was voted unanimously to join the Board of the Football Club.
Prasad – who hails from Sigatoka and now resides in Brisbane, is Managing Director of Silktails Platinum Sponsor 3R Shipping PTY LTD. Prasad also doubles as GM of Commercial Wholesale for Australia and South Pacific for Leader Distribution.
Silktails Chairman Petero Civoniceva was delighted to have Prasad join the Club’s Board. “Our Football Club is an ambitious one and after 4 years in the Ron Massey Cup, we are now participating in the Jersey Flegg competition against 12 other NRL Clubs. As we continue our evolution as an Elite Development Pathway club we need to add more valuable people to our organisation, such as Ronal” said Civoniceva.
Executive Director Stephen Driscoll has worked closely with Prasad since he joined the Silktails sponsorship family and also endorsed Prasad’s appointment. “Having people like Ronal that have a strong commercial background in business as well as being a strategic thinker will help us achieve our strategic goals and make the Silktails the best Elite Pathway Sporting Program in the Pacific” said Driscoll.
The Silktails Board will now turn its focus to the remaining six rounds of the season when the New Zealand Warriors return to Fiji this week for their Round 20 clash at Churchill Park under the guidance of Care Taker Coach Timoci Duve, who continues to impress those around him since he took the reigns from Wes Naiqama back in Round 13.
